Professor Layton and the Curious Village

So I just finished what has to be one of the greatest games for the DS. I’m a puzzle nerd, so it already appealed to me, but I was surprised how much more the game had. An orginal art style, backed up by a dark orginal story. The characters weren’t deep, but they had their quirks and just so much fun. Layton is such a gentlemen charming. Well done cut scene added immensely to the game.

And I liked that such a good game managed to stay so simple, from story, to just puzzles and point and click gameplay. It showed that you don’t need five millons mini-plots with tons of names, or to be pressing every button on the ds while messing with the touch screen(not referencing anything…).

I’m glad I gave it a chance, and hope Devil’s Box makes to America soon.

I also want to see a Luke cosplayer. He’s soo cute. >.<

  1. Ah, wanted to play that soooo bad…

Pressing every button/touch screen sounds a lot like Metroid Prime Hunters. But it was awesome on wi-fi, so we let it be.

  2. Well, I wasn’t picking on that.

I was poking at The World Ends With You.

  3. Whoah! Is that icon Rossiou from Lagann? Aaaah such an under-rated character…it’s saddening.

Agh, that game reminds me of a hand-breaking version of the Kingdom Hearts: COM for Gameboy advance…

  4. If he only hadn’t had to go villian on us. -.- I decided to be a Rossiu fangirl due to his lack of love.

    Made by the same people…hmm…

Oh, yeah, I still have your slime on hold for you!
